Meet The Team
Cole Ripp, the founder of Dynamic Dance Company, graduated from Waunakee in 2018 and is currently twenty-two years old. Cole spent his first year out of school working full-time as an assistant teacher at an early child care center here in Waunakee. Throughout the last two years, Cole has been working full-time during the day as a lead teacher. Cole has also spent the past two years working as one of the Head Coaches for the Waunakee Middle School Dance Team, which Madi Smith and himself started up. Cole can not wait to watch the team, and the Waunakee Dance Program continue to grow. Cole Ripp and Madi Smith spent the last year working as the new head coaches of the Waunakee High Schools Varsity Dance Team.

Cole has been dancing for ten years and started training at Spotlight Dance Academy at age ten. Right then, he instantly found that dance was his passion. During his training at SDA, he was on the competition team for four years and competed with lyrical, jazz, and hip-hop routines.

Cole loved traveling around the country for competitions and being able to have the opportunity to see all sorts of dance from different areas at such a young age. Starting his first year of high school, Cole auditioned for the Waunakee High School Varsity Dance Team and made it! He loved it so much that he stuck with it all four high school years.

Cole believes he had a fulfilling dance team experience with many accomplishments: being voted most valuable dancer for two years, being voted captain his junior and senior year, and making all-state his senior year. Even though he had a fulfilling dance team experience, he wasn't ready to be done. With his hard work and determination, he started a Waunakee Middle School Dance Team through the Waunakee School District. Cole and Madi then moved on to be the Varsity Dance Team coaches, and even with the crazy covid year, they were able to lead the team to become regional champions.
Cole feels honored to have the opportunity to work with so many talented dancers as well as continue being a part of Waunakee's Dance Program.
His goal as an instructor is to help prepare his dancers for what is next in the dance world after high school. He hopes every member enjoys their time here at Dynamic Dance Company and grows to be the best dancer they can be. Cole is very excited to continue working with his company members and new recreational teams. He can not wait for another great dance season!
Alexis Frazer
ARTISTIC DIRECTOR AND SOCIAL MANAGER
Meet Alexis, a seventeen-year-old dancer and teacher at Dynamic Dance Company. Her favorite dance styles are contemporary, lyrical, and sassy jazz. Alongside her dance journey, Alexis is an incoming senior at Madison Country Day School. She aspires to be a therapist/psychologist for young children aged three to ten. With her talents and dedication, Alexis is a valuable student and teacher here at Dynamic Dance Company.
